Diane Alexander

Psychotherapist | Executive Coach | Neurodiversity Master Practitioner

I am Diane Alexander, a BACP-accredited and UKRC-registered therapist (since 2004), Executive Coach, and Master Practitioner in Neurodiversity. I specialise in working with eco-entrepreneurs, corporate organisations, and professionals in regulated and high-responsibility roles who need confidential, high-quality psychological support

With over 25 years’ experience across private practice, business, the NHS, education, and corporate environments, I bring a calm, grounded and highly practical approach to mental health and leadership.

Mental Health & Performance — Treated as One

At TLC Partners, we deliver mental health training, counselling, and executive support to corporate clients across the UK.

My work is rooted in a simple belief:
Mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing are inseparable.
When the individual suffers, everything suffers — performance, relationships, and purpose.

That’s why my work goes beyond talking therapy. I support clients as a whole person, integrating my 5 step approach:

  • Mental health
  • Neurodiversity
  • Stress & sleep regulation
  • Nutrition, exercise, and self-care
  • Sustainable ways of working and living

Specialisms

I specialise in working with:

  • Eco-entrepreneurs & purpose-led founders navigating growth, pressure, and responsibility
  • Corporate leaders and teams managing stress, burnout, communication and cultural change
  • Neurodivergent individuals and organisations seeking clarity, confidence, and alignment
  • High-pressure environments following trauma or critical incidents

Common areas I support include anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, insomnia, self-esteem, anger management, assertiveness, and emotional regulation.

Experience You Can Trust

Alongside my private practice, I have worked extensively in:

  • The NHS and Primary Care
  • Higher Education
  • Corporate and EAP settings
  • Barnardo’s, supporting adults and children around trauma, sexual abuse, self-harm, eating disorders, and identity
  • Adoption Central England, supporting children and families

I am an affiliate practitioner for Bupa, AXA, and other insurance providers, a registered clinical supervisor, and I supervise therapists as part of my practice.

I am also trained in critical incident and trauma debriefing, supporting organisations and individuals following serious workplace incidents, including sudden death and terrorist attacks.

Leadership, Governance & Community

Since 2022, I have been a Trustee of Lifespace, a children’s charity promoting the wellbeing of young people across Warwickshire.

How I Work

I work with:

  • Individuals
  • Couples
  • Groups and teams
  • Corporate organisations

Sessions are available face-to-face and online, offering flexibility without losing depth or connection.

My role is not to “fix” you — it’s to help you reconnect with your strengths, regulate your nervous system, and build a life and work pattern that is genuinely sustainable.

A Final Thought

Most people are exceptional at caring for others — and terrible at caring for themselves.

If you’re ready to stop running on empty, to work in a way that supports both performance and wellbeing, and to reach your full potential without burning out, I would  be delighted to work with you.

Organisational Wellbeing, Neurodiversity & Performance Assessment

Taking the first step towards addressing wellbeing — whether for an individual or an organisation — is often the most difficult. It is also where meaningful and sustainable change begins.

Alongside coaching and counselling, we provide a structured organisational wellbeing and neurodiversity-informed assessment. This is designed to identify the psychological, cultural, and environmental factors within your workplace that contribute to:

  • Sickness absence, presenteeism, and stress-related leave

  • Burnout, chronic overload, and emotional fatigue

  • Retention challenges, disengagement, and loss of talent

  • Underperformance linked to unmanaged stress or unmet neurodivergent needs

  • Increased risk of mental health claims, grievances, and conflict

Crucially, our assessment considers how neurodivergent employees (including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and related profiles) experience your organisation — and where systems, expectations, or communication styles may unintentionally increase stress, exclusion, or attrition.
