How can I manage sleep better?

Are you struggling with sleep are you waking up several times a night, do you wake up feeling really tired?

Also if you snore be aware that snoring is a sign of inflammation, it can be linked to something you may have eaten or drank in the day.

When you are asleep, you cycle through two types of sleep each night.

Rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, which is when you dream, and non-REM (NREM) sleep.

NREM sleep comes I three types:

  1. Useless night’s sleep
  2. Middle sleep which is still considered as light sleep
  3. Deep sleep.

In order to have a healthy lifestyle it is most beneficial to spend as much time as possible in deep or slow wave delta sleep.

This is when your breathing and heart rate drop to their lowest level and your brain wave waves slow down.

You need to create a healthy sleep-hygiene routine.
