The Biggest Shift Was Boundaries

You can understand that you need boundaries — and still find it incredibly difficult to put them into practice.

That was a big part of Charlotte’s journey.

Through our work together, she began to understand not only what she was doing, but why she responded in certain ways — particularly patterns that had developed from growing up in a difficult environment.

That understanding changed something important.

She became kinder to herself.

She stopped simply recognising the need for boundaries and started actually using them.

And, as Charlotte says:

“Once I did that, everything changed.”

Those changes didn’t just affect her emotionally or within her relationships. They began to show up in her business too — in how she takes payment, how she communicates, how she shows up professionally and how she protects her time and energy.

This is why I don’t believe we can neatly separate the person from the professional.

The patterns we carry into our relationships often follow us into our working lives too.

When we understand those patterns, we can start changing them — rather than continuing to live and work around them.

If you recognise yourself in Charlotte’s story and would like to explore what might be keeping you stuck, you can find out more about my work with NeurA+ or book a free discovery call.
