Smoothies and depression

“While I had wanted to try making smoothies in the past, I never had enough motivation to do so. The benefits were not immediately apparent, but over a period of a few days I noticed I suddenly felt a lot more awake than I was used to, as well as having additional energy for both exercise and day-to-day tasks. It just seemed a little easier to do things. I am not claiming this alone is the answer to life, the universe, and everything, but it certainly gave me a little boost which I really needed to keep on going and surviving through the darkest moments.”

G.F testimonial

This is a powerful experience of how someone taking care of their nutritional needs, in turn enhanced their ability to motivate themselves to start a daily regime of exercise and look at other areas of their life where they were not taking care of themselves. As a result this client has managed to lift from a very depressive mental state to one of hope and an ability to visualise a new future.
Do not underestimate how important both our physical and mental well-being are also linked to our nutritional needs.

Taking care of you is the most important thing we need to do every day to then in turn take care of all the other challenges we have in our lives.
